Storage Cages
Custom-built mesh enclosures for strata basements, warehouses, plant rooms and bike storage.
The scope, in detail.
Off-the-shelf storage cages rarely fit the space you actually have. We measure, fabricate and install lockable mesh enclosures sized to your basement, warehouse or service area. Galvanised welded mesh, padlock-ready latches, optional roof — installed in a single visit.
Built to Australian Standards.
Every storage cages install we deliver references these standards. We hand them over in writing at sign-off.
Storage Cages, answered.
How long does a custom storage cage take to make?
Standard sizes: 1 week from order. Fully custom (non-standard dimensions, mezzanine, special access): 2–3 weeks. Install is typically a single day on site.
What mesh size do you use?
50mm × 50mm galvanised welded mesh for security. 25mm × 25mm or solid sheet for tenant privacy. Both are powder-coated optional.
Can storage cages be installed in an active basement?
Yes — we work after-hours or on weekends to avoid disrupting resident parking. Most strata installs are completed across 1–2 evenings.
What about access for fire systems?
Critical. We design every install to preserve sprinkler coverage (minimum 600mm clear of sprinkler heads) and emergency egress paths. Body corporate fire compliance must not be affected.
Do you supply locks?
We supply heavy-duty padlock-ready hasps. Customers usually supply their own padlocks for individual control. We can also supply matching combination padlocks if preferred.
Can I get a roof on the cage?
Yes — same welded mesh or solid sheet. Recommended for sites where dust, debris or unauthorised access from above is a concern (e.g. multi-level basement with mechanical services above).
