Common questions

Signage & Compliance, answered.

What's the difference between Class 1 and Class 2 reflective signs?

+

Class 1 (high-intensity) is brighter, used for regulatory signs viewed by moving vehicles. Class 2 (engineering grade) is standard for car park informational signs. Class 1 costs more but lasts equally long.

Do I need council approval for car park signage?

+

For most internal private car park signs, no. For any sign visible from a public road, or for changes to existing approved signage, yes — your council DA may require approval. We can advise.

Can you produce signs to my brand colours?

+

Yes. Custom branded signs use the same compliant substrate and reflective base, with your colours, fonts and logo overlaid. Brand-matched ISA accessible signs are popular with strata clients.

What materials do you use for outdoor signs?

+

3mm aluminium composite panel (ACM) for substrate, Class 1 or Class 2 reflective vinyl, UV-stable digital print top layer. 10-year UV warranty on materials.

How are signs mounted?

+

For ground-mounted: 50×50mm galvanised steel post, concrete-set 600mm deep. For wall-mounted: stainless steel fixings sealed with marine sealant. For ceiling/structural: powder-coated mounting brackets.

Do you take down old signs?

+

Yes, and we remove the existing posts and patch the slab as part of the install — for a clean handover.
