Line Marking
Sharp, long-lasting lines on car parks, warehouse floors, factory pedestrian zones and roadways.
The scope, in detail.
Professional line marking in Sydney that lasts. We use high-performance chlorinated rubber and thermoplastic systems matched to your surface type, traffic volume, and compliance requirements — delivering durable markings that resist fading, wear, and harsh Australian conditions.
From 30-bay strata basements to 1,000-bay shopping centres, every project follows a proven process: surface preparation, precision masking, heavy-application coating, and proper curing for long-lasting results.
Built to Australian Standards.
Every line marking install we deliver references these standards. We hand them over in writing at sign-off.
Line Marking, answered.
How long does line marking take to dry?
Traffic-grade water-based paint is touch-dry in 20–30 minutes and ready for light vehicle traffic within 2 hours. Two-pack epoxy and thermoplastic are faster (10–15 minutes). In cold (under 10°C) or humid conditions we allow 4 hours for full cure.
What paint do you use on car parks?
For asphalt: chlorinated rubber traffic paint (3–4 year lifespan). For sealed concrete: 2-pack epoxy (5–7 years). For heavy-traffic roadways: hot-applied thermoplastic (6–8 years). We match the system to your surface and traffic load.
Can you mark our car park without closing it?
Yes, this is most of what we do. For shopping centres and busy sites we stage the work — one zone at a time, usually overnight between 6pm and 6am. You get a staging plan with the quote.
How often do car park lines need re-marking?
Quality marking on asphalt with moderate use lasts 4–6 years. Shopping centre entries and ramp tops wear faster (2–3 years). UV exposure, drainage and heavy vehicles all shorten lifespan. We recommend annual visual checks.
Do you remove old line markings before re-painting?
It depends. If the layout is unchanged and old lines are sound, we clean and re-coat. If you're changing layout or there's peeling/ghosting, we remove first — water-blasting on asphalt, grinding on concrete. Removal is quoted separately.
Do you provide compliance documentation?
Every job ends with: before/after photos, AS standard references, dimension verification records, paint MSDS, and a final invoice matching the quote. Larger jobs get as-built drawings.
