Custom Fabrication
In-house steel fabrication for site-specific protection that off-the-shelf can't cover.
The scope, in detail.
Most projects start with a problem that doesn’t have a catalogue solution: an awkward column corner, a unique gas-bottle store, a one-off forklift guide. We measure, design and weld it in our Sydney workshop, then install and finish on site.
Built to Australian Standards.
Every custom fabrication install we deliver references these standards. We hand them over in writing at sign-off.
Custom Fabrication, answered.
What's your typical fabrication turnaround?
From signed design to delivered/installed: 2–3 weeks for most projects. Simple guards and brackets can be a week. Complex installs with multiple finishing stages: 4 weeks.
Do you design the item or do I need to provide drawings?
We can do either. Most clients describe the problem and we propose the solution; we then draw it up for approval before fabricating. CAD-capable clients can supply DWG/PDF directly.
What finishes are available?
Hot-dip galvanising (best for outdoor/wet exposure), powder coating (any RAL colour), primed-and-painted, raw stainless, brushed stainless. We recommend galvanised under powder-coat for outdoor structural items.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes — a single bollard mount, a custom corner guard, a one-off equipment bracket. There's a minimum job cost but no minimum quantity restriction.
Can you replicate an existing item?
Yes — bring us the broken one, a photo, or measurements. We can match material, dimensions and finish.
Is fabricated work covered by your insurance?
Yes — all custom fabrication is covered by our public liability ($20M) and the installed item is warranted for materials and workmanship for 12 months.
