Do you install the EV chargers themselves?

No — chargers are installed by a licensed electrician (Chargefox, EVSE, Schneider, etc.). We do everything around them: bay line marking, bollard protection, signage, ducting, wheel stops, and accessible-bay setup.

Why do EV bays need bollard protection?

Because the charger unit costs $2,000–$15,000 and lives at bumper height. A single misjudged reverse can write off the unit. Two correctly-placed bollards prevent it for under $800.

What's the right paint colour for EV bays?

Green epoxy is the unofficial standard in Australia — it visually distinguishes EV bays from regular parking. We use 2-pack epoxy for outdoor UV resistance.

Do I need a charger at every bay or can I share?

For commercial: typically 1 charger per 2–4 bays, with load-management software balancing draw. For residential/strata: 1 per bay is common as it simplifies billing.

Can you future-proof for more chargers later?

Yes — and we strongly recommend it. We install cable trays and conduit to unused bays during initial works. Adding more chargers later then costs hundreds instead of thousands.

How much space do I need around an EV charger?

Minimum 600mm clear on the cable-management side, 300mm on the opposite side. Bollards spaced 1.2–1.5m apart in front of the unit. We design to the specific charger model.
